  • Icelandic Days

While Spanish Fork, like much of Utah, was first settled by Mormon Pioneers, the city is particularly well known for its Icelandic settlement – in fact, the city was the first permanent Icelandic settlement in the US. This led to the formation of the Icelandic Association of Utah, which continues to host “Iceland Days” in the present era.

The Icelandic Days usually take place in June, coinciding with Icelandic Independence Day on June 17th. The days are interspersed with cultural displays and a well-regarded “Fire and Ice” festival in the city.

  • Fiesta Days

Held every July, Fiesta Days celebrate Pioneer Day with live entertainment, festivities, and a fireworks show on the 24th of the month.

  • Festival of Colors

The Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple celebrates “Holi” – a Hindu spring festival known as “the festival of colors” in Spanish Fork each year, with thousands of revelers traveling to the city to enjoy the festivities.

  • Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights runs from Thanksgiving through to the New Year and features a drive-through light show along with Christmas music.

  • Harvest Moon Hurrah
